About Me
Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah Davis, an ASHA-certified pediatric speech-language pathologist. I specialize in helping children build strong, meaningful communication skills through personalized, in-home therapy. My work focuses on early language development, speech sound disorders, and supporting children with complex communication needs, including those who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
My approach is child-led, relationship-based, and rooted in meeting each child where they are. I believe communication is more than just words—it’s about connection, confidence, and being understood. I partner closely with families to create practical, everyday strategies that support progress not just in sessions, but in real life.
I began my career by attending the University of Florida, where I studied Communication Sciences and Disorders and earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I worked in skilled nursing facilities until October 2020 and switched to pediatrics. I worked with a variety of communication needs across the lifespan, which inspired me to earn my clinical research doctorate degree. I earned my doctorate from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in December 2025 with a focus on autistic language development and music.
My mission as a speech-language pathologist is to support children and their families in discovering and strengthening their voice through a child-led approach. I strive to provide consistent support, foster collaboration, and promote confident communication throughout the lifespan.
“When our 4 year old started speech therapy he didn’t talk, and when he did try to talk, he would get stuck on his words. For 2 years, he worked with Miss Sarah. He really took a liking to her as they both shared a similar interest in dinosaurs. Through his love of dinosaurs Miss Sarah was able to work with him and get him to open up more and more every session. We started to notice as time went on that our little boy was gaining confidence in his speech. We are so thankful for Miss Sarah. She gave our son a voice.” ~Ashley
